When and why did you start training for fighting? In 1995, I saw a video of UFC 2. I was hooked from the start. I started training in 1997 with Marcus Soares and later moved to ATT.
What ranks and titles have you held? WFA Middleweight champ, Spirit MC Heavyweight champ.
Do you have any heroes? Muhammad Ali.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I'm now in the mix with the best fighters in the world.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? Office clerk, Bouncer, BJJ teacher.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Numerous grappling tournaments, Canadian Abu Dhabi trials winner, Grapplers Quest winner, NAGA winner.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? PRIDE Bushido GP runner up.
