TRAINING: It is pretty simple - morning is cardio, weights and technical work. Night time we have the live sessions with the grappling and sparring.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training at the age of 6 in Karate in Panama because I was inspired by the movie The Karate Kid.

What ranks and titles have you held? In Karate he holds a Black Belt under Tom Okamoto. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he has a Purple under Ted Stickel from Gracie Barra in Alaska. Also, he received a purple belt from Roni Salas who is a black belt under The Legendary Carlson Gracie.

Do you have any heroes? I see him in the mirror everyday.

What is your favorite technique? Arial triangle

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a goal that I had set for myself. Now that I'm here I'm looking forward to making the most of this goal and capturing every part of this experience.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Louisiana State University B.A. Political Science. Now a student at St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa, pursing my MBA.

What was your job before you started fighting? Too far back to remember.
