Terry Martin

When and why did you start training for fighting? I come from a fighting family. As a kid I went to different neighborhoods and fought with my friends betting money on me. I've been with Bobby since 8th grade, learning how to fight. My first MMA fight was about 3 years ago. I knocked a guy out on my birthday.
What ranks and titles have you held? WEC North American title.

Do you have any heroes? I like Fedor a lot.

What is your favorite technique? Submissions.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means a lot. That all my hard work has paid off. It's the chance to display my skills.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Northern Illinois (BA in psychology). I finished up my Masters degree at Concordia University and I'm currently attending Adler School of Professional Psychology, working towards my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

What was your job before you started fighting? Drag racing.
